The following images are taken from exhibitions at Manchester Metropolitan University and Mid Pennine Gallery.
The piano was wired up to a series of record decks, hanging bike wheels and hacked electronic toys. When a key or series of keys were pressed on the piano a corresponding record, wheel or toy would be activated. I designed the space to ensure that many people would have to interact together in order to experience it fully. Although much of my work around this time was very iterative I think it also hints or comments on technological ubiquity, sustainability and design for disassembly.
