Nanotopia - utopia or dystopia?

The era of nanotechnology has already begun with L'Oreal (the cosmetic company) already holding the most patents for nano products. This project looks at the future of materials that are combined with drugs. I examine how, if clothes change their properties, our relationship to what we wear might also change.

I started this project by experimenting with the idea of drugs being embedded into furniture. I found the implications of life-long furniture and life-long medication intruiging. However, I eventually found myself excited by the idea of medi-clothes. Since we wear some form of garment every day and they form a large part of identity within society, I thought it was an interesting area to speculate upon.
