Smart Street

This was a group research project in collaboration with Intel and their People And Practices Research group (PAPR). We used design as a means to speculate on possible futures for a particular section of Gloucester Road in South Kensington. Inspired by the ethno-fiction of Jean Rouch we used creative interventions to collaborate with the street and its inhabitants in order to generate future scenarios. We used our design skills (prop-making and drawing) to design "on the fly" changing the rules, re-evaluating and re-iterating after every experiment.
